The Positive Effects of Juicing

Advocates of the juice cleanse diet will tell you that there are far more to juice cleaning than there are negatives. However, many of them will never say more than “Oh, you’ll feel great!” or “It’s great for weight loss” and not forgetting “It’s all about cleansing the body”. It would be nice if they could just reel off a list of benefits so that those of us new to the whole thing could see a reason for following the diet. Well, here are some of those reasons:

Digestion: Fresh fruits and vegetables require very little in terms of digestive energy, which means that you are unlikely to suffer digestive side effects such as heartburn or indigestion.

Energy: As the body doesn’t require as much energy to digest its food it has more to give to other bodily processes. This could mean that you feel less tired, have more energy and are able to get more things done on a daily basis.

Nutrients: From being very young we have all been told to eat our vegetables (and fruit) because they are good for us. This is 100% true. Fruits and vegetables contain valuable vitamins and minerals that the body needs in order to function at peak performance levels. Juicing gets more of those vitamins and minerals into the body in less time.

Chlorophyll: Green juices are packed full of chlorophyll, a substance which is a power house when it comes to detoxifying the body. It is known to cleanse the liver as well as help strengthen and rebuild blood cells. Chlorophyll is also known to strengthen the body and eliminate parasites.

Liver Cleansing: Juicing provides a natural liver cleanse. As toxins in the body build up the liver starts to struggle and is unable to remove them all effectively. This leads to us starting to feel ill and suffering as a consequence. Once the liver is working at its optimum you will experience less sickness in the long term.

Hair: A juicing diet is great for those people who suffer from weak or brittle hair, even those who worry that they are losing their hair and going bald. The increased intake of nutrients provided by juicing means that the quality and strength of the hair is improved.
